Introducing the women behind  Ebony


Helen & Martha Abraha are the kindest and warmest human beings you could ever meet. They are truly beautiful inside and out. They are both moms, and have college age kids. They are both passionate about cooking and feeding people.

Helen (Left) loves cooking so much, that she went back to school and earned a Culinary Arts degree. Going back to school as an adult is not easy, but not only did Helen get her degree, she also graduated at the top of her class. We are all very proud of her. Helen studied food service operations including: food preparation, nutrition, purchasing, menu planning, equipment and table service. She is a also a Chef Garde Manager preparing hot and cold hors d’oeuvres, cold canapés etc.

Martha (Right), a twin, and also enjoys cooking for family and friends. There is always good food at her house. In addition to enjoying cooking, Martha also studied for a year at the Catering and Tourism Training Institute in Ethiopia. She studied food handling safety, food preparation, table set up, and serving. She also has a certificate in Food and Beverage Service.
